Taking the Show Up Strong course has been a transformative experience for me. It provided me with practical tools and insights that will help me refine my leadership approach and to better manage challenges and lead with intention and assertiveness. I now feel more confident in my ability to ‘show up strong’ and be a more effective leader as well as an ‘equal in the moment’. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to elevate their leadership skills.
— Todd Hughey, South Carolina
I recently applied the principles of ‘Situational Readiness’ from the ‘Show up Strong’ workshop to navigate a challenging discussion with an employee. Drawing on the knowledge gained from the class, I approached the conversation with confidence and compassionate assertiveness. The focus on understanding the situation and preparing for it not only allowed me to lead the discussion effectively but also enabled me to be empathetic and considerate. I attribute the positive outcome of the conversation to the fact that I was well-prepared, embracing the principles of situational readiness.

I wish I had known more about this topic a few years ago when I was dealing with an extremely difficult supervisor. But learning these things now definitely allowed me to reflect on those prior experiences and understand better the behaviors that supervisor had and how they affected me. I feel better prepared to navigate difficult situations moving forward especially with the advice on handling conflict, difficult people, and understanding hierarchical behaviors.

Very good program and well designed. The facilitator is very knowledgeable, easily understand, and very relatable.
— Andrew Delaney, Illinois
I was skeptical of a pre-recorded webinar and wondered what I would actually be able to take away from it without any opportunity to interact with the presenter or other students in the class. I was totally wrong to be skeptical. Thank you for this information and the way you presented it. The format turned out to be perfect, I could deliver it at my own pace, and even re-listen to presentations that took me more time to digest!
— Cori Dahlby, Minnesota
The presentation on Failure, Rejection, and Poise really resonated with me. Great reminder on conditioned thinking habits and how they can prevent you from being intentional. The goal should be to have our intentions be more powerful than our circumstances.
— Erica Sparacino, Louisiana
I learned a lot about myself and how I work to provide a stronger future not only for myself, but also my department and agency.
